Name- Narendra Behera(Mechanic)
Age-76
His monthly income was too low, below 4 thousand a month, with that he used to take care of his family. He had started the mechanics business early age and working in this vocation for about 45 years. His sons and daughters are working in different government sectors. He had taught skills before to ITI students. He believes that students should learn skills and come out of bookish knowledge. He discussed the jobless youths who can work and earn but are reluctant to. He thinks that if this type of teaching happens in school then it will be revolutionary. He congratulated us and wished it became a success.
Name- Yogendra Pradhan(Electrician)
Age-51
Yogendra is a very experienced electrician and he has taught more than 100 students still now about the vocation. He earns 15000/- a month from this business. When we talked about our app development and his knowledge about mobile, he said he is not very much familiar with it. He knows basic apps like Facebook and WhatsApp. When asked how he gets an app that will allow connecting all students of the country who are trying to learn from him, he said that would be a really good opportunity for him to share knowledge with them. When we asked him about a stipend for teaching, he said I want to share my training skills with others who are interested in learning. a stipend comes at a later point. In the near future, he is trying to open a Honda showroom.
Name- Bharati Das(Tailor)
Age-38
She is a 10-year experience tailor, with a family income of 25000/- per month. She doesn't have any plans for retirement and will look into it in the future. She has never taught anybody before about this skill. When we asked about our project she said it will be a great advantage for students as well as her. When interrogated about her stipend she said she definitely needs it as she spends time on it and will decide with mutual understanding with the student.
